Wonderful Batam

It was my plan to design a landing page for website and after some thinking on what should I design, I've come up with an idea to introduce Batam as my birthplace, spreading the beauty of Batam to the people around the world because Batam have lots of beautiful and interesting places actually, even for me as someone who was born in here, still haven't explore a lot of places in Batam yet. So, wala! There it is ?

I purposely put the photo of Ranoh Island in the home screen because I think it could represent the island-ness of Batam, the beaches well, the colour is eye-catching and fresh too. So when user immediately comes in, it's like they're getting the fresh air indirectly ?

It's my first time designing a landing page so I'd love to get some feedbacks from you guys, especially on how a landing page like this could be improved as a designer perspective, especially the suer experience. Thank you and have a nice day! ??
