Logo design concept (1 of 3)

With Newcastle having new owners, a rebrand isn’t out of the window. So I tried my hand at coming up with some new logo design concepts.

This version is more of a modern interpretation of Newcastle’s current logo, getting rid of some 'unnecessary' elements and simplifying some of the shapes.
