Pantheon in Paris
Built in the 18th century as the church of Saint Genevieve, today the Pantheon is the burial place of prominent French personalities. On the pediment of the building is the inscription "The fatherland is grateful to great men" (Aux grands hommes, la patrie reconnaissante).
