Philosopher Portraits (Engraving)

The four volume bookset ?Socrates' Children? by Peter Kreeft was one of the most extensive projects I worked on to date. Among other things I had to illustrate an engraving style portrait of the 100 (!) most influential philosophers throughout history — from Solomon to G.K. Chesterton.

Here the portraits 50-55: St. Thomas Aquinas, ?John Duns Scotus, William of Ockham, Meister Eckhart, Nicholas of Cusa and René Descartes.
