Duotone icons

Designing for image comparison and image manipulation apps, such as Diffchecker and SVGViewer, often involves finding the right metaphor for highly abstract and technical concepts.

In making such technical products more readable and user-friendly, iconography can be of much help.

Given the specificity of the features I was designing for, finding the right icon set on the market would be a really hard choice. So, I decided to create my own. I also used that opportunity to give all the icons a rounded, duotone look that plays an important role in setting the visual character of both interfaces.
